Howard University National Day of Service
IPAMA was honored to be selected by Howard University as a National Day of Service site. Fifty students traveled from Washington, D.C. to Milwaukee, dedicating an entire week to cataloging, recording, and documenting the IPAMA collection. Their work played a critical role in preserving and authenticating the institution’s historic compilation of African American music, art, and cultural artifacts.
