Milwaukee was invited to experience something extraordinary as the International Preservation of African American Music and Arts (IPAMA) proudly announced the return of the Bishop Daniels Music and Arts Series — a powerful cultural journey through knowledge, rhythm, movement, and creative expression.
In proud partnership with two of Milwaukee’s most iconic artistic institutions, KO-Thi Dance Company and Capita Productions presented the series, spotlighting the richness of African American and global diasporic traditions through immersive live performances, dance, and theater that uplifted, inspired, and ignited the soul.

Four unforgettable Music & Arts Series events during the fall and spring of 2025.
Each gathering delivered a dynamic fusion of heritage, creativity, and performance art. From the powerful storytelling of Capita Productions to the electrifying rhythms of KO-Thi Dance Company, audiences experienced the legacy and future of African American artistry in profound and meaningful ways.
The series became a true cultural exploration — where knowledge met rhythm, and history was told through movement, melody, and masterpiece.
