Legacy in Song: Celebrating 100 Years of Recorded Gospel Music brought together music, history, faith, and community for a memorable evening at the Bishop Daniels Institute for the Preservation of African American Music and Arts. The program honored a century of recorded gospel music while celebrating the artists and traditions that continue to carry the genre forward. Musical guests included Keshia McFarland Jeremy and Kendra Jeffers, Ashley Jasper, and Russell Smith, each helping bring the story of gospel music to life through powerful live performances.

Guests also had the opportunity to experience the Faith on Record: A Century of Recorded Gospel Music exhibit, which highlighted important artists, recordings, and milestones throughout gospel history. Together, the exhibit and concert created a meaningful celebration of gospel music’s lasting influence on faith, culture, and American music.
